Instead of the buttery garlic breads you eat out, we use slices of bread made with BÄKKER Sade Miks No.20 to make an alternative that is as crispy and delicious as those from Italian restaurants. A snack that you can enjoy with soups, as an accompaniment to salads, or on its own at any time of day, with the aroma of garlic and cheese from the oven.
Ingredients:
-
2 thick slices of bread made with BÄKKER Sade Miks No.20 (for the dough, see the BÄKKER Mix recipe)
-
1 teaspoon olive oil (or a small amount of melted butter)
-
2 cloves garlic (puréed or finely crushed)
-
2 tablespoons grated mozzarella or fresh kashkaval cheese
-
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh parsley
-
A pinch of dried oregano
-
A little sea salt
How to Make It:
-
Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix olive oil, crushed garlic, finely chopped fresh parsley, oregano, and salt thoroughly to create an aromatic oil.
-
Sauce the Bread: Place the slices of bread made with BÄKKER Sade Miks No.20 on a clean baking sheet. Using a brush (or the back of a spoon), spread the prepared garlic oil evenly over each slice of bread.
-
Cheese Touch: Distribute the grated cheese over the bread slices, making sure it doesn't spill over the edges.
-
Baking: Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius on the top (grill) setting or in an Airfryer until the cheese melts and turns golden brown, about 6-8 minutes.
-
Serve: Once removed from the oven, cut the warm bread diagonally in half and serve immediately.
